Especially the temperature changes between day and night, as well as the sun-rich autumn, provide us with the best pumpkin seeds.
Our carefully selected pumpkin seeds are sourced either from our own farm based in the center of the main styrian pumpkin growing area in the south of Styria in St. Georgen/Stiefing or 100 % from the traditional P.G.I. farming area.
The pressing of pumpkin seed oil requires a great deal of experience and care and is carried out by hand. Our traditional Styrian stamp pressing process ensures the unrivalled flavour.

As an Austrian living in the UK It is impossible to buy genuine Pumpkinseed oil from steiermark at a reasonable price. The oil I bought from Nebauer is the real thing. It is thick, the taste is really lovely and great for salads. I definitely will recommend it.

This is lovely oil with an intense flavour, fortunately my local supermarket decided to stop selling pumpkin oil, and so I had to look round for an alternative. After some looking I came across this and purchased 5 litres which Im absolutely delighted with, its pressed weekly to order and so is completely fresh, I honestly dont think that you will find a better oil. I have ordered from the company twice and on both occasions, my order has been received very quickly. The reason for purchasing the pumpkin seed oil, is because my husband has a low grade, slow growing prostate cancer, of which, as an homeopathic medicine, Styrian Pumpkin Seed Oil (not a cheaper imitation), was recommended by friends. The flavour is lovely (I have tried it) and have read it is ideal for savoury and sweet recipes.
